Rev. Kathy McAdams

The Grace Church congregation is worshipping at All Saints Church in Attleboro and

St. John's Episcopal Church in Franklin, MA.

And virtually, too!

Grace Episcopal Church Forges a New Future

The Grace congregation has called its present location home since 1872, and its current building since 1931. Several of its members have been doing so for nearly 100 years. But the collapse of the interior of the bell tower on May 18th of 2024 has highlighted the inability of this small, faithful congregation to properly care for their building. The difficult decision was made to sell the property, which has been listed for sale.

The Grace congregation is very clear, “We are not closing; we’re moving.” “The church is the people, not just the building, and we plan to stay together.” The congregation has been worshiping with All Saints in Attleboro and is in conversation about a formal merger. The two Vestries are currently working out details and are in the process of choosing a new name for the unified congregation.

Reverend Kathy McAdams will continue her ministry with the new congregation.

A Farewell Service will be planned for the Spring of 2025.
